LAS VEGAS XJ GROUP-----> 1st ROLL CALL.
Went to the junkyard this morning to get some stuff. Saw this Commanche and 3 other ones there. All were still complete. Also saw a TJ tub and chassis, that thing was completely stripped.

If anyone is interested, there are about 5 XJs pre96 and a couple 97+ with overhead consoles at the yard on Lamb. Some needed to be redone but all were complete with wiring too. I snagged one for my friend in Utah, didn't pull one for me though. Still undecided if I want to do it.

I was wondering the same thing, so I took the picture. Even the door jambs were done that way. Had some weird designs on the doors and seats. And there were 2 XJs with tweed wrapped dashes and A-pillars.
Forgot that I found a Thule crossbar and gutter mounts off a XJ too! Now I have 3 Thule bars and 2 factory ones. And I got a front skidplate for no reason. Painted and installed today, but the flat black paint just isn't doing it for me. Maybe semi gloss or some stupid design might work. I don't even know why I got it, but it was $2.75!

True. My steering stabalizer isn't up to par to be shown off LOL. Everything else has been upgraded but that. I was actually looking for factory t-case skid and gas tank skid, but the stupid junk yard puts the vehicles on old wheels right on the gas tank! I found one there, but it was smashed because of how the vehicles are sitting. Pisses me off because I want a gas tank to swap mine out but all are smashed or have holes in them.

Saw this when it was first lifted. It sure has come a long way in the past year.

It's a white 99 XJ. He's on here sometimes. He works at Henderson Hyundai. He was one of the first with the Spectre cowl intake. Has a lot of upgrades too. Not sure why the link doesn't work. I'll check it again.
I was shocked when everything I got was $20. Then I looked at my receipt and noticed everything was $2.75 or $5. I even got brand new in bag Explorer hatch supports. A quick Google of the part number to tell me it was for the vehicle I found em in, so I snagged em.
Maybe it is because of the holiday weekend. But the yard on Lamb has some empty areas now. Two complete rows of XJs MJs and ZJs. Oh and a ton of Explorers with disc brakes and the 8.8 for anyone looking to swap.
