Sounds like she was gonna get taken for a ride lol. At that price, I bet its worth the trouble of figuring out the problem, if indeed one exists.. Im flat broke or i would be figuring out a way to get it

Well my trip to Reno didn't happen. Just gonna keep my eyes open here and San Diego for one. That would be the easiest way for us to purchase one.

New problem for me guys, any of you know how to fix power windows? My passenger window fell down while driving.

 

some people have real problems here... there are NO ARs left in vegas.. NFA Isn't even taking orders for them.

but for your problem,

Option one and my favorite... remove the doors. No window no problem thats what I always say (my driver window has been broke for a while. I pulled the door the day I broke it and It hasnt been an issue till i put the door back on last week lol)

Option two the more spendy one is open up the door and see what broke. It could be anything in there have a look then replace whats broke. I highly doubt it was the motor probably something with the other parts. post some pics if you got questions

 

I was at NFA today and their walls are bare...

Well looks like i get to go to a repair shop.. I dont have the dextarity in my hands to work on something like that.

 

Yeah people are going crazy over this gun ****. I was in wall mart on Tuesday to pick up some ammo and I was BSing with the manager and he said he had sold 12 ARs since Friday. Today at NFA I was going to order one but they wont even do that. My friend was at a shop the other day and while he was waiting in line the price for worn out old crappy colt ARs went from 800 to 2500 before he even got to the counter. on a side note at NFA today I decided to pick up some .40 because well you can never have too much and they had a 20rd box of gold dot for $28 and a 50rd box of gold dot for $29... I got a chuckle out of that and grabbed a few of the $29 ones lol

I would at least take a look first it could be something as simple as a pin breaking or the window falling off the track. you never know how stupid simple it could be.

 

Any idea if NFA has their 1000rd boxes of 9mm reload?

Went to the junkyard this morning to get some stuff. Saw this Commanche and 3 other ones there. All were still complete. Also saw a TJ tub and chassis, that thing was completely stripped.



If anyone is interested, there are about 5 XJs pre96 and a couple 97+ with overhead consoles at the yard on Lamb. Some needed to be redone but all were complete with wiring too. I snagged one for my friend in Utah, didn't pull one for me though. Still undecided if I want to do it.
