I have my plate on top of the u-bolt plate. Should I need to remove the bumpstop plate, I will not need to remove the u-bolts. Also gave me about 1/2" more height overall. Worth a shot if you still have them.

So what would you guys do...

I have the opportunity to trade wheels/tires with someone. They have 16" moabs with some what new 245/75/16 Falken Wildpeak ATs. My 31s are around 9 months old.

245/75/16 = ~30.8x10

1. The falkens are a hair shorter and narrower.
2. I really REALLY like moabs on XJs
3. I would upgrade to a 32" tire eventually.
4. With my spacers the backspacing would be 3.5". Which would look badass with my fender flares.
5. Did I say I like moabs?

What would you do? I really can't decide.

His wheels:

I would do it. Falkens are noisy on the road, they have a hum over 25. I think your 31s are the same height overall, but you will be swapping tires later anyways. And Moabs are hard to get for cheap too.

If anyone is interested I found my old Hypertech Power Programmer. Part # 50012 for use on 1996-2004 Jeep 4.0L only.

Listed on CL as well. Asking $150 OBO for it. It is not VIN locked either. I have no need for it. Used it on my '97 XJ and '04 TJ with butt dyno results. Both were returned back to stock so this unit is ready to go.

If it doesn't sell I will try it out on the current '96 and see what happens.

Make an offer! Cleaning out my garage... again LOL. Every time I do to make more room, I end up with less space on my shelves.
