What you got?

And I got the axle. Broken wheel stud on one side. Everything else is there. Came out of a 2 door 1997. Six more work days of driving with the annoying pinion growl!

If you need a hand with the swap let me know, what JY did you call about the axle? I need to start my 8.8 search since payday is tomorrow haha and find a drivers door.

They have many Ford explorers there!

Replace studs with zj, that way it will work with aluminum wheels. Part # should be on my build thread. Check out the 4 sale link on my sig as well.

Got the diff home! It doesn't fit in the XJ. So I took the work truck home and realized how quiet it is! And how much torque the newer Silverado 6.0L has, but it wasn't a fun drive because its the work truck model and I miss my XJ.

Anyways, pics are in my build thread. Gonna start tearing it apart this weekend and cleaning it. High gloss black paint on the housing and my SOLID cover should look nice.

Nice! I'm glad you picked it up.

Anytime I get into someone else's car, I always comment on how quiet it is. I'm used to the tire whine and road noise.

Full size spare and that's it. I moved the passenger seat forward all the way too, but I have ZJ seats so maybe they don't go as far forward as stock ??

And you have the 2 door! Throw it on the roof lol.
If I took the passenger seat out it would have fit.

A few months ago I ordered some daystar extended bump stops for the front of my xj but I ended up ordering the wrong ones. Well turns out they are the right length for the rear. So I dremeld out the inside hole a lil. Made a seat for a washer and then bolted then to my plates. Beats having them sit on my shelf haha
