Yeah, my poor ole Jeep has just been getting the **** beat out of it lately and it's needed some love. I came into a few extra bucks and decided it was time. Hopefully the new winch gets here by Friday so I can head out to Walker this weekend and try all my new mods out.

Replaced the bolts for my lower control arms after i found out they were 0.070 smaller than stock. Made my RC control arms shift back and forth. No clue how those bolts got there...

I got the new Smittybilt XRC8000 installed Saturday. I pulled the cable off of it that came with it. I wound it up with my new synthetic winch rope I bought just before my old winch took a dump. Man oh Man!!!! is this new XRC8 ever faster than my old one was! Gonna head out to Walker on Sunday. I'm jonesing bad to get on some trails and try out the new mods I've done to my Jeep.

Looking to make that upgrade very soon. My current one has been deceased all winter. Any difference in speed between the cable and the rope?
