then i saw a comanche with a really nice and simple bumper on it and got excited, as it was pretty much exactly what i wanted to build for mine. set down my tools to look underneath, and my hopes and dreams were dashed to pieces.. guy had tossed in a couple bolts, then welded the whole damn thing to the frame. did get some good rear bumpstops from it tho, mine are broken/missing

took a few pics tho.. guy did some work on this for sure. kinda curious on why it was dumped.

I hope that never ever ever saw the road that thing was a death trap

drove it!

lol.. it's been sitting at my buddy's house for a week and a half while I was borrowing his truck for house/yard work. made quite a few dump runs that I would not have wanted to attempt with the jeep. yuck..

then I went to work and built my new sub box..

Did a switch to bypass the day time running lights. Also re wired the fan relay to bave constant 12 volts so it will run with the key off, then added a switch to run the fan when needed.

Well in the presses of towing a trailer back to Mt. Vernon I threw a rod and now I'm on the hunt for an engine. Dose any one near Coupeville WA have a spare 4.0 inline 6 for a 90 that they can part with?
