So I took the time to look up the federal code you provided and after about 10mins. of reading I'll take your shortened version.
The funny thing is that my factory Hlights in my superduty got me high beamed all the time, and when I switched to HID's I never get flashed any more.

That's just because they don't think your on hi beams... They see Hids and go .. ugh but stock lights they think your on hi beams so they flash...

Hids won't work on my xj though. Tried 2 kits .. I even had a tech look at it.. one of them always doesnt work.. pissss me off. The one that doesn't work they take off and test it and it works but when on my jeep... Nope...

Picked up some Royal Purple 75w-140 and my backing plate bolts. Going to go out in about an hour and start taking my rear end apart.

Pulled my cross member to replace the Transmission mount. Also, ordered a rugged ridge header, so I may start preparing the engine while its in the mail. The stock header came apart on Saturdays run. It was much louder, and no power.

I just replaced my header after the one of the 2 down tubes completely separated, such a difference in power and idle.

New windshield wiper bushings in the XJ today. Old ones were pretty worn, the wipers would stop 1/3rd of the way from where they should sit when they were shut off. Now that problem is no more. Had a struggle with it for a while though, it just would not go back in. Then since I always take pictures I pulled it back out, looked at the picture and found out the linkage for the drivers side wiper was backwards.

Anyone know how to get the ABS sensor out? Do I really have to undo the whole wire and run it through the backing plate?
