Bought my first XJ. Pretty happy about the price I paid, $700, it's a 88 with a 5spd on 31's.

Thanks, now to just replace the puking steering box, stripped manual drivers window regulator, make speedometer work, replace radiator and upgrade to electric fans, fluid changes, install a radio, etc. But first I need to do some more research. What does J.E.E.P. stand for again?

I hope you don't think your Jeep is a Harley. You're gonna ruin your engine with that oil.

Anyway, I did a valve cover gasket, new crank sensor, flush the transfer case and hooked my electrical fan up with power to the fuse board, and a switch put next to the shifter on the empty part of the baseplate (automatic).

Transfer dumped out dark brown shine, gooey liquid.

at least it's replaced with new ATF.

I have been neglecting her for a little while so I showed some love with an injector flush, throttle body clean, Mopar fuel additive, oil change and spark plugs.
