I went out to a little trail yesterday with a few of these guys. From what Im told it was really light, but it was my first time wheeling and I had a blast. My XJ wont go to fulltime 4x4(cant get past part time) and Im kinda bummed about that. But I had a blast doing it. Im all ready hooked and planning to next set of gizmos to buy

Hey!! your dad was there and he told me I could take whatever I wanted...lol. He said to take the whole thing just to get it out of the driveway...lol.

Let's not forget to mention Brian hauled some parts back to the fairgrounds for you that was pretty much your best sale of the day....lol.

You need to get your new axles built up and installed so we can go wheeling. The snow level has dropped back down low again.

So, I did get my new WJ steering tierod installed that Branden donated. I love how it looks and works. can't wait to try it out off road. I will be cleaning up my new 95+ axle shafts and getting them installed over the next couple of nights. I'm probably going to go wheeling at Walker Valley this Friday as my son hasthe day off and I have to work over the weekend. There is snow really low in the foothills so looking forward to getting to play in the white stuff a bit.

Branden, if you end up parting out the front suspension individually, I will buy your drop brackets from you.

I just got it home today and I had to take that ugly, weathered, sun beaten molding off the side. Looks 100% better already.

New Valve cover gasket. If the oil stops I'm cool, If not I will replace the oilpan gasket and rear main seal...
Also Inspected front end to find that I need a Steering gearbox ! A lot of play in the steering wheel! So I watched it while my boy turned the wheel back and forth. The Gearbox has a ton of play in it..........

Oh BTW : If you use a heatgun to soften up the rubber those damb grommets for the PCV system go in with Ease !!!

I used this to rip out the other axle and hub to replace the ball joints on the passenger side. Last weekend it took a day and a half to do the drivers side today with some anger and a large slide hammer involved it took about 4 hours. So I did ball joints hub and bearing and an axle. Next weekend finally I'll do the energy suspension bushings and I took pics for you all this time.

I think I'm going to have to ask the admin to change my screen name to million dollar XJ

In an attempt to fix the strange sound coming from the Transmission, I changed the fluid and filter. It didnt help. But the pan looks good now.
