Well, I finally got a chance to get the new toys I bought at the 4x4 swap meet, cleaned up and installed in my Jeep. I got a ZJ tierod from Branden and I bought a set of 95+ axle shafts which are thicker and have a larger knuckle cup and use the larger U-joints. Can't wait to try the Rock Face on Expressway up at Walker again. One thing I will tell you guys with older XJs that have the disco and 2 piece long side axle. If you want to go to the newer larger one piece axle shafts, there is a plastic insert just inside of the disco opening in the axle housing that you will have to pop out, otherwise the axle will not slide in. Ready to go wheeling now.

put a lot of miles on it this week driving back and forth to tumwater. Been doing a lot of research on a new tracbar. Also been looking for a new front bumper or some rock sliders (birthday present). Anyone know of any?

Installed a CB today (with a little help). Then sat around discussing all the dreams and aspirations we have for our XJ's. Then got my old leaf packs out of the garage. Now all thats left to get rid of is two of the old rims

Found that annoying rattle at 1,700 RPMs in the back. The tail pipe is hitting the gas tank skid plate. I was thinking it was something loose in the hatch because I couldn't find anything loose anywhere. I'll be happy when it's quiet again.
I know where I'm going tomorrow. I hate rattles and squeaks!

That way you can sit and dream of future mods you're going to make while waiting to get off work.
