Just finished upgrading my towing system; took off the beat up, OEM, literally useless tow hitch with a valley brand tow hitch, $20 dollars from the JY

Last night I touched up all the rock rash on my sliders, bumpers and quarter guards with a little **** can black. I greased the double cardan joints on doth driveshafts. They are both due for a rebuild. I'm just putting it off as long as I can so they get copious amounts of grease injected with a needle tip all around the ball seal after every wheeling trip...LOL. I also started drilling the holes in my front spring perches for the hockey puck bumpstops. Driver's side was a piece of cake. I need to get a longer drill bit to do the passenger side. The lower trac bar mount makes drilling that hole an adventure in developing patience. Of course the easy way to do this is to remove the springs and drill them from the top. However, removing the springs can be avoided if you chose to drill them from the bottom like I did. It's just a little bit of a PITA to get the passenger side done this way. i just have no desire whatsoever to have to remove my coils. The next time I go through that pain it will be to put higher lift springs under it.
