Backed it out of the garage, stared at it for a while... Trying to figure out what color to paint it. Then pulled it back in... Exciting i know!

Got it back, 4.56 gears installed, front locker installed!

Do you know if he had to remove the carrier to install the locker?? I'm thinking he did, because of the new (4.56) ring size. Hope that doesn't screw up the mesh of your new gears.

Yes he had to remove the carrier to put in a new carrier for the d30 due to lower gears. If you are putting in an aussie though, you dont need to take the carrier out.

It wont mess with the meshing of the new gears at all.

I was thinking a regear here pretty soon, but decided on saving up for a custom HP front 44. Thinking its a better investment lol

Matt,

I had to remove both my front D30 and rear D44 carriers to install my Aussie Lockers. You are right because the 4.56 ring gear is thicker than the stock 3.55 ring gear. I'm sure Lockrites would require the same with 4.56 gears.

Did aome more "fine tuning" on my fenders with a cut off qheel and now i dont rub on 33s. Also i plugged up some stray vaccuum lines.

I went to take the kid to school today and my b**** ***** jeep wouldnt start (its been doing the random stalling thing for about a week so I shouldnt have been surprised). Now I get to replace the CPS...

front/rear bumpers/rack/exo cage still work'n on it. when complete everything will be powder coat grey. I'm thinking two more weeks.

Welded the pads an on the Dana 60 an slid it in, also put my new free parts washer in the shop
