hey does anyone know if a store that sells welding materiels? home depot told me there is one in mt vernon. i am looking for a place i can buy square and round tubinm, 1/8"-1/4" steel, and stuff like that. i would like to buy some material so i can start on my new tube fender flares! i am so tired of these crappy bushwackers, they dont hold up for ****, every time i go wheelin, i rip one off! so i am gonna make my own out of tubing, and 1/8" steel

any steel supply can help you out. most have a drop yard so you dont have to buy 20ft lengths of everything

ha nice. im doing the same thing. but im guna build my bumper first then fenders that or sliders first....

make sure you add some sort of brace on the inside of the fender. at least a tube or two to the inner fender. buddy of mine made a set up like this and hit a tree didnt think of it when he was on the trail. got home and found out his whole fender moved in 2in.

non of these places sells DOM tubing, but the Skagit River Steel place sells everything else and can order it. so i am gonna measure for fenders, and see if it is worth it for me to make my own. i would also have to come up with a tube bender.
