Yeah, the only actual missing piece I have is just the lens off the one light. The right side light is all there. The left side light lens evidently broke at some point and is gone. The bulb is even still in the light. just no lens. I can figure out and fix all of the wiring issues with pieces from this Jeep, pieces from my 91 Jeep and electrical supplies I keep on hand.

Well, I learned a hard lesson, this morning when I was leaving for work, about being and XJ "Country" owner. This damn Jeep has an upgraded interior light package. I counted just how many lights come on when the doors are opened. There are a total of 5!! my god, my 91 Sport had 1 domelight. That was it. Well, I had the doors open the whole time I was working on the Jeep last night.......and yep, you guessed it the battery was D E A D this morning. So, I jumped in my truck and away I went to work. I went home during my lunch break and jumped the Jeep with my truck. I took the long way back to base so the battery could charge up and so I could actually get a feel for how this Jeep drives. This was the first actual drive from my house to someplace since getting it running and all legal like to drive. It really does drive pretty good. There is some thumping going on in the front end when I go over bumps. We all know what will fix that....getting my good lifted suspension put on it...LOL! I really was enjoying how it corners. When XJs are stock with their front and rear sway bars I think they actually handle really well. As, you all know my rear sway bar will get tossed in the weeds and my RC quick disco sway bar links will be added to the front one when the lift happens. The real treat was when I stopped for gas. Filling the little white Jeep from where the low fuel light came on took 14 gallons and just $50 bones. Its a $100 everytime I fill my truck from where the low fuel light comes on.

So, the Big Brown Truck showed up yesterday to my house with a big box that said Rough Country on the side....WOO HOO!!!!!
That means the last piece I was waiting for to do the lift on GW has arrived. The only problem is I need to do a rebuild on my D44 differential before I can be mobile with that axle. I also need to get the rear shock mounts cut off and prepped for their new location higher up on the axle housing. Then I'm going to go visit my welding guy, Old man Don, here in town. I need to get the shock mounts welded on and might just have him do some trussing on it while I'm at it. he is the one that did the welding for my on my DIY Super 30. This 96 XJ is also OBD II. It has a downstream O2 sensor so I don't think removing the kitty would be a good idea on this Jeep like I did on my old Jeep when that one plugged up. So I need to cut off the flange and remove the length of the kitty out of my old Jeep's exhaust and then have the flange welded back on. I'm missing having my Flowmaster on this new Jeep already. The vacuum cleaner sound isn't very manly...LOL. I'm really wondering if my Jeep will look dumb on an 8" lift with 33s, too. I need to figure what kind of tires I'm getting so i can get my new 35s. I've got my old 4.5" Rusty's Offroad coils sold. That is half the price of the D44 Master Rebuild Kit. Just need to crap the rest of the money and get it ordered so I can get started on the gears. I will be doing the gears myself, again. Much cheaper that way. My Jeep doesn't see enough highway miles to really spend the money on a pro. to do the gears. I've also been looking at Summit Mud Hog tires as a possible cheaper but very aggressive looking and well made alternative to the Yokohama Geolanders.

The lift most likely will be the next chapter you all see me do, write and photograph for Project Great White. I just have to wait until my lift, axles Transfer case and tires are all ready to be put on. I don't like to Piece Mill stuff like that. I'd like to tear it apart once and have it all done and ready to wheel.
The stocker D30 out of my 96 Jeep is already sold but, it has a perfectly good ChryCo 8.25 in that is for sale. First $150 or best REASONABLE offer takes it home. You guys all know what these things are worth....so do I...so please don't try to Low Ball me. I have other things to buy for GW.

I agree, those summit mud hogs look pretty mean. Also, the geolandars are a smaller version of the 35" tire, with actual diameter of 34.5". If I were to spen that money with an eight inch lift, I'd want the best bang for my buck and get tires in the 34.8 to 35" inch range.

The wife and kids will be out of town all weekend so I need to utilize this time to make some forward progress. I will most likely get the rear tire carrier, quarter guards, rock sliders, winch and bumper all pulled off of my old Jeep. I can get out the drill and wire wheel out and get a few cans of black satin **** can and get those things all cleaned up and ready to be installed on GW. I could also get my CB put in GW. Lots and lots of work to do...lol.

I have a set of Rough Country X-Flex upper and lower control arms. The first $100 takes them home.
I have a Daystar Budget Boost which consists of 1.75" lift front coil spring spacers and 1.5" lift rear leaf spring shackles. The first $60 takes them home.
I have the complete intake manifold off of my 91 4.0 HO motor which includes the throttle body with TPS, IAC and I will throw in the MAP sensor, 6 fuel injectors, fuel pressure regulator and fuel rail. The first $200 takes it home. Just so you guys know what a deal this is a set of 6 Autozone cheapy fuel injectors alone is $270. IAC $49, TPS $35, MAP $50, fuel press reg $60. So without even counting the price of the intake manaifold itself you are saving $300.

I also have a 91 Jeep Cherokee brake master cylinder and power brake booster. The first $125 takes them home. These were both replaced July of last year. Autozone price for the master cylinder is $48, booster $130. A set together is $198. So, you can get both for less than the price of a new booster.

I also have the steering gear box and both the high pressure hose and the return hose. $100 for the steering box and I will throw in both hoses.
If you want the whole thing: PS pump, gear and hoses just $150.

I also have a perfectly good fuel tank and fuel pump. There are no dents in the tank, nor is there any rust on it. It has been protected by a 3/16" thick skid plate for the entire time I've had my Jeep.
Fuel Tank: new $141, my price $80
Fuel Pump: new $107, my price $60
You can get them both so its plug and play for $125.

The only other thing I can think of to tell you guys about is that all of the glass in old 91 Jeep is perfect. Make an offer on any glass and its yours. No reasonable offer will be refused. The windshield does have a few rock chips but there are no cracks in any of the glass anywhere.
