And just so you know either Oregon or Washington is super easy too pass deq. Wait in line for 15-20 min. They sniff your tailpipe. You pay $21 and go on your way.

You settle on a place yet? If not you can check out Newberg. 30 minutes from portland. 40 minutes to browns camp, 20 minutes to trask mountain, 15 minutes to wodburn dragstrip, 30 minutes to PIR, 45 minutes to the coast. Schols are good, I got 2 kids in jr high. And NO deq!! Its kind of in the center of everything that I like. Oh and 45 minutes to Mt Hood. Population is like 25k spread out though. Smaall town atmosphere at least.
