for those of you who dont want to get up that early you are welcome to head over whenever you want. the trails are set up nicely so you can get to any trail easily from the main road. i want to get there early because i dont know how packed it will be up there with the snowjam crowd. but for those that want to be there early i will be at the grainge hall around 6:30-6:45ish in a red dodge towing green cherocon

Good news guys. I was at the Wheelers of Washington meeting last night and we talked about the Snow Jam on the 22nd. Apparently that is just a Forest Service road run. It ends around 11:00 and at that time several people from the run ususally start hitting the trails at Elbe. That means that we do shouldn't have to worry about getting there really early to beat the crowds. I will still be there as early as I can, but I am not much of a morning person.

I will be there at the grange hall to help Branden unload his Jeep. I second what he said. The rest of you guys can show whenever you want. We will be there all day...and like Bill and Bobby say no normal person should be awake at the buttcrack of dawn on a Saturday anyway...lol. I will be monitoring CB channel 33 and I already posted my cell phone number. We will head out to the first trail about 7:00ish with whoever is there. Anybody who shows up later, just send me a text saying Buck where the hell you guys at!! or give me a shout on the CB and we will get you to where we are...or if you know Branden better give him a shout. I wont be too far from him just in case the big green monster needs the strap...LMAO!!

And the poker run ends at elbe. It doesn`t start there.

Count me in for a 9am start. 7am is just a bit too early for me.

Ryan you are coming from Tacoma. I suggest that you PM Bobby (TampaViking). He is a great guy and he has been to Elbe Hills before. He is coming from Ft. Lewis which is basically Tacoma. Find out from him where you can meet up with him and tag along with his group to Elbe. Branden (98XJsport) and I (BuckB91XJ) will be monitoring CB channel 33 and we have both given our cell numbers multiple times in this thread. I'm sure Bobby will contact us as soon as his group arrives at the Elbe Hills parking area/campground. We will get the late group to where we (the early group) are as soon as possible so we can all wheel together. If you or anybody reading through this thread have any questions call or text me at (360)929-5518 or Branden. His cell number is on the post directly prior to this one. Saturday morning I will be leaving from Winlock and traveling east on Hwy. 12 toward Morton and then heading northeast on Hwy. 7 to Elbe. Anybody coming from that direction let me know and we can meet at the AM/PM gas station at the intersection of I-5 and Hwy.12 east. Be warned though I will be leaving from that AM/PM store NLT 5:30am as I will be at the grange in Elbe to meet Brandem at 6:30am....and be on the first trail at 7:00am.
