ok well to make a long story shorter.
My dana 35 on my 93 xj took a crap sunday.
im looking at just replacing it for now but it seems to be hard to
find what i have.
dana35 with 3.55 easy to find
with (((ABS))) hard to find
so my ? is this can i keep my abs if i get a rear end with out abs
how hard is it to swap over and can it be swaped
and if none of this works and i have to just pull the fuse
will i have any problems with the breaks.

 

Dana 35's are a dime a dozen, as for gearing, they are either 3.54 or 3.55, which is the same. As long as they are within a few points, it won't matter. It is an easy, direct swap, you just need to remove all the abs stuff, fuses, relays, and lines.

 

get rid of ABS, its well a BS system. do a brake booster swap. makes it stronger too. but for the time being it should be fine without it.

 

Well things have changed again
My front end has gone out as well

So I have found a front Dana 30 hybrid
With locker
steal housing Dana 44 with a Detroit locker
Both have 4.56 gears ( so I need some 33's )
And a built np231
