I'm planning on doing the 136a ZJ alt swap into my XJ that's got a 90a alt. Can someone give me the years and engines that have that alt that fit into my 90 XJ ? I know you need to alter the mounting bracket some to fit it. Just want to make sure I don't get the wrong alternator!

 

you are going to need more than that. you have the renix 4.0 and their alternators are internally regulated, HOs are regulated by the ECU. look in the write up section, there is a write up that shows you how to put a 136 GC alt in a renix.
