Zero Power wtf
Ok so i just finished replacing the valve cover gasket, and fired her up. (leak fixed) I then turned the motor off. I proceeded to start mounting my external speaker and when I went to fire her back up and test I now have absolutely zero power. No headlights no ignition absolutely nothing. The battery is good, and I have brand new leads.
Someone please help me as this is EXTREMELY frustrating due to the time limit I have to get her to the Redneck Yacht Club this Friday. Any ideas welcome.

Never disconnected. Had the new leads when I bought it. Just checked them though and they look solid.

You have no electrical power, I would check to see if there is a fusable link from the battery to the engine fuse block. You may have created a short connecting power to your external speaker. The link is a short piece of coated wire that melts and breaks inside the tubing, to protect your electrical system (ECM) etc. Otherwise check the fuse block in the engine compartment, there maybe a 30amp fuse supplying power that has blown. These larger fuses usually have a clear plastic window and you will see the link burned apart.

It's my opinion that it will be difficult to track down the problem with out some kind of test light or voltage meter. Fuseable links are difficult to determine their condition just by looking at it.
An inexpensive test light will go a long way in helping you out.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, hope you get it figured out soon.
