Default Z-Max Lube???

ok so i was my local pepboys getting some stuff for my rig. and as i was looking at the additives, i came across this Z-max stuff. it states that it is a micro lube for the engine oil. claimed to go deep inside the block and lube where oil doesnt seem to reach. and it also claims to lubricate the tiny cracks the block may have. the botlle does not have any teflon or chlorine in it which most additives have. has anyone here use that stuff???? i was tempted to buy it but not before what other people say about the product. thanks guys...

The FTC is suing ZMax for unsubstantiated claims.

"actually demonstrated that motor oil treated with zMax produced more than twice as much bearing corrosion than motor oil alone"

Take a look at the date on that suit... It was 2001...

ZMax ended up settling out of court with FTC. Agreed to change their marketing practices. During the fact finding portion of the suit, they admitted that their product was nothing more than household mineral oil with purple food coloring.

i always like to say...No "Magic" in a bottle....and GOOD oil doesnt need a additive...it should have good additive packs in it.
