I'm just curious to see what everyone runs in their rides, personally I really like Lucas products. I use their Oil Stabilizer, a quart, every oil change, gives me much better oil pressure and seems to help stop leaks as well. I've also been using their "upper cylinder lube" every fill-up, it's supposed to help lube your cylinder rings, clean injectors/carbs, and in turn give you better performance and MPG's, can't really say I've noticed much with the "upper cylinder lube", but I'll continue to use it for a while and see if I get any results.
For antifreeze/coolant additives, I use Red Line's "Water Wetter", it helps keep temps down, and I have noticed a difference when using this product. I was going to try the Royal Purple stuff, but after reading the bottle I decided against it.
Lucas "anti slip" tranny fluid, as well as using their gear oil's for my diff's. I've used Sea-Foam in the past as well, as a fuel additive and it seemed to be a good product as well, just a bit more expensive than the Lucas equivalent.
So, what do you guys/gals run in your XJ's?

I'm down with the Seafoam-
I've only had my 98 for about 8 months, but i'm on my 2nd can, going about 1/3 can for a full 16 gallons, every other tank so i can clean, but not be too harsh.
I have already had an increase of about 4 mpg. I'm getting about 20 mpg at 70-75 mph. Stock xcept for the exhaust.

I have tried the Seafoam and actually got, I think good, results from it. I did the vacuum line method, cleaned the throttle body with it, and put some through the gas tank for the last 2 (1/2-tanks) in a row with premium gas. I just bought this bad boy 60 days ago and I can honestly say Ive seen the MPG's increase and smooth throttle response.
I had always used Lucas but recently I switched just to see what would happen and have to say Seafoam works. I bought the Gallon size to save some money with a coupon code from Advance Auto, so I got it pretty cheap.
Good thread though, I would like to hear what others trust and use. Im pretty suspect of anything that goes in the crankcase.
Has anyone used the Trans-tune Seafoam product?

Additives Schmadditives.
Use good quality fluids and you don't need additives. Most lube additives are just chlorinated parafins and don't amount to much other than extra $$.
Occasional solvents/drygas in the fuel system are OK, but if you're fouling the internals of your motor/trans/injectors to the point that you feel the need to flush them with solvents on a "routine" basis, you have base issues that are not being corrected appropriately.

*BG44K is a good (but expensive) additive to clean the fuel system on abused engines.
*Techron (by Chevron) is a great additive to the fuel system to help optimize the spray pattern of fuel injectors
*LubeGard (red) is a very good transmission fluid additive.

I just run good oil, only buy good quality fuel, and keep it tuned up. There is no reason that you should have to buy any additives. Most good fuels already have their own additives in it.
