Does anyone have these headlights, are they brighter than the stock ones?
I'm kind of skeptical about $40 lights.

Dont get sealed H4's, its more expensive but just get some housings and bulbs. Get the bulbs online, they're alot cheaper than in the parts store and I recommend E code housings . Just because i love mine so much.

Don't get those, they will spread light like garbage. If you want to do an H4 upgrade, upgrade your headlight harness with a Putco (plenty of info on this on the forum) and get some quality headlight housings.
Some good and inexpensive ones are the Autopal e-codes, found on ebay, many people on the forum here run these with great success. Others that come to mind are IPF housings, Hella, etc. Cheap eBay ones may look nice, but are generally speaking not very good in terms of quality, or light output. If you just want a brighter sealed-beam light, one of the best ones out there are the H6054 Sylvania Silverstars. I have had good luck with those, I bought them of Amazon a while ago.

Yep, Autopal E-codes plus the Putco harness from eautoworks.com and you're set.
Don't get the lights you linked. You won't be happy with then

Yea I was looking at the Silverstars, would feel better with a name brand like Sylvania but was thinking they would not be noticeably brighter, (they advertise only 20% brighter, doesn't even seem worth it.)

I upgraded my stock lights to Silverstars, they were much much brighter. I upgraded my wiring harness a few months later, and there was another very noticeable increase in output. I do a fair bit of night driving, and I feel quite comfortable with my light output... If you drive a lot at night, I wouldn't get a lower-end light from Sylvania such as the Ultravision or whatever else they have.
A quality H4 housing with a good bulb could most likely be brighter than a Silverstar. An advantage to the H4 is its "customisability", meaning you can pick whatever bulb you want to put in there, and H4 bulbs are probably the most common ones out there, so if you burn one out on a big trip, it would be easy to find a swap. The advantage to the Silverstars in my opinion is that they still give you excellent light output when compared to stock, and the simplicity and convenience of a sealed-beam. There is a lot of personal preference here, and if you do it right, either way you will be very happy.

They look cheap in the picture but once you get them he glass is sturdy and holds up and with good bulbs they work great

I have these and that are working great for me. They definitely out shine my stock head lights. I put mine on going on 2 years ago.
