Default XJ vacuum lines

Hello everyone. I'm new to the site and to jeeping in general. I have a 91 Cherokee Sport 4x4 that I basically saved from the salvage yard and I'm slowly rebuilding her. Has anyone found an aftermarket vacuum line kit for the XJ's? I know I can get the bulk rubber vacuum line from AutoZone but I would like to replace it with the hard lines like the ones from factory.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they only are hard because they are old and dry. Thats how mine are on my 98.

I definitely have plastic vacuum lines on my 98, some are rubber but most are hard-line plastic (or some plasticy substance).

I really dont think there are pre-fab'd replacement lines - your options are to attempt to remove some from another junkyard XJ, or do what I did and patch any holes with a span of rubber vacuum line, which worked fine for me. Some RTV on the plastic before you slide the hose on will prevent any vacuum leaks, but it fits very tightly as-is, I used a very thin layer of RTV, as thin as I could spread it.

mine are definitely hard plastic and the ends where they connect are rubber and most of them are pre-formed into a specific shape for its location in the engine compartment.

Yep. You can buy the plastic lines in bulk. Use a hair dryer to form them.
