Dodge durango box is the best upgrade without spending serious cash. Not sure wich years I beleive its a 99 box that fits. Just search for a write up.

Yep not sure which year for the Durango box but it offers better steering response and less effort to turn larger tires.

Any Saginaw box with the flanges on the driver side will work. Some boxes have three bolt mountings and some four. Either will work. The Durango V8 box has a larger piston in the box so is capable of pushing harder on the pitman arm. If you do this upgrade, you should also brace your box or plate the sub frame so you don't pull the mounting bots through.

I'm pretty sure the procedure is the same for an XJ

Chev S-10 box is the way to go.
Durango has brass bushings, S-10 has dual ball bearings, and is more powerfull. Definately brace the unibody, and start thinking about 1-ton steering.

Pre 96 for sure. Not sure about later models. No drilling needed.
