I have this 1988 XJ that was getting oil in the air filter so I replaced the air filter and the vacuum harness and the grommet on the pcv but it is still dumping oil on the air filter from the ccv but i’ve Heard it can be caused by blow by but if it had blow by wouldn’t it have blow by coming out of the oil filler cap when you take it off and rev it up. So there is probably something that could be clogged that I don’t know about but I’m not sure so thanks in advance.

 

Take off the valve cover and do Cruiser54's mod. He worked at the dealership for over a decade so he knows what he's talking about.
