Xj front tow bar

i bought this from the junk yard for 20$ yesterday! do you think i could throw some dring on this or what/ let me know what you think!

it doesnt look like it uses very many bolts on the unibody but atleast it ties the whole front together prolly fine for mild to moderate use cool score for $20

Yeah. It ties into the frame and bumper. I took it off a 98. And those tabs stick out of under the bumper a little bit and at first that's what I thought it was for.

that might have been used if the xj you got it from was towed behind a motorhome. and you can probably find a way to put d rings on it, in a pinch you could always wrap the tow strap around the tube on that.

dont think i hook any thing in the middle it would pull out into a v d ring could be hooked thru the bolt holes that im guessing are in the tabs sticking out

for easy pulls i think screwing them on here might work,but you would have to cut some square holes in the bumper for access

Those big brackets tie into the frame and the bumper the tabs that you pointed out pint down to the ground and the longer tabs stick straight out where I would mount the d rings. I wish I would taken a pic befor I took it off the other jeep
