Get the 6lm NOT the 2lm.

 

Well on the superbright website they have a b10d bulb or a neowedge series that comes in 3 sizes. I can't find which size is correct because the neowedges look like the factory bulbs.

 

I did this a while ago with LED T5s and 194s. Even swapped the bulbs in the ac unit ans switch cluster.

It cost me 1.99 for 10 T5s and 1.99 for 10 194s from Ebay. So for me it was a $8 mod counting shipping. ...And I have spare bulbs left over.

 

Make sure to get the 6lm and not the 2lm. There is a difference. Ask me how I know!

First purchase was through Ebay and second was with superbright. Although, superbright sells both.

 

But which neowedge on superbright is the correct size. I don't see a t5 on the website and the neowedge looks like the right style but comes in three sizes.

I've read page 2 and I can not find what in looking for. The bulbs in the switches and hvac cannot be removed from their base to install just a bulb and superbright doesn't have a listing for a neowedge B. They have a neowedge 3,4, or 5. If I missed something on page 2 I apologize.

The 194 bulbs work fir the hvac of the earlier Jeeps like a 94. I have a 99 they are smaller than a 74 and cannot be removed from the twist in base. I pulled a bulb out if my hvac and they are not 194 or 74 because you cannot remove them from the base.

 

They are t5s too. you just have to remove the plastic base from the bulb and spool it into the hvac bulb bases.
