Hey all, So heres my thought. I have a 4.5 lift, looks like shackles and a add a leaf in the back. I want 6.5. So I am planning on putting a 2 inch coil spacer up front and a 2 inch add a leaf in the back. Seems the simplest and the cheapest too me. My main question is will the brake lines be okay? I have shocks. So let my know your thoughts/opinions, thanks fellow jeepers!

why not? I am not gonna pay 900 dollars for a 6.5 lift when I only paid 1000 bucks for the jeep.

One of the benefits to XJs instead of Wranglers is that they're so cheap to buy. They're cheap to lift, too, if you compare. If you want a 6.5" lift, you're either gonna spend some money or do a lot of work on a bastard pack and shackles.

Just do 6" blocks. That would be the cheapest route and you don't even need AALs.

i bought pro comp 2.5" lift leafs for $200 but they came in at 4" of lift over stock at the frame rail. i called the manufacturer and they said yeah they come in at 4" and settle to 3.5". Mine havent settled at all in almost 5,000 miles. Those with a nice set of shackles is a 6" lift for less than $300
