I hope I am posting in the right spot, sorry if I am not.
1)I would like to add the remote door lock system to my 94, does anyone know if the door lock remote system is a "self contained" unit? One that could be wired into my system or is it in the ECM or some how integrated with some other circuit?
2)My XJ has manual locks and windows, I have power doors I am planning to install (yes I know most go the other way)(I have my reasons) If an XJ had power windows and doors as an option but did not come from the factory equipped with them, is the wiring loom the same? IE all the same but stops at the doors or under dash allowing me to plug and play the power doors?
3)I have heard there are write-ups on optimizing your electric windows, rebuilding, cleaning, etc. I have not yet searched to deep for anything, would there be someone so kind as to point me in the right direction?

Soo with the lights off in the Jeep. When I hit the brake pedal the dash lights come on, and the mileage light goes out. Also the front marker lights come on.
My 3rd brake light is out. Is this one of those funny things they do when the bulb is out or do I have some sort of electrical problem?

These vehicles do ALL KINDS of weird things when lighting circuits aren't "they way they should be". I'd first go around and check all your bulbs. After that start with checking your grounds. The one you'll want to start with is inside the cargo area basically where the gas filler is. Chances are you've got some fantastic rust action going on.
I've done alot of engine upgrades to my 91 XJ. I have 4 port injectors, 62mm T-body, K&N intake, exhaust header, and a cat back. Anything else I could possibly do to make her put out more power? Maybe a high flow catalytic converter? Any ideas would help thanks.

I'm going to go look at a 93 cherokee loredo tomorrow. Im not to familiar with this generation. I've been around and owned a lot of 97+ and a 96. Anything particular I should look for? I.e. '00-'01 have the head issue.
Hi guys
Yesterday I purchased a UK 2000 GC 4.0L and wit ha relatively low mileage of 40k and its in great nick
The only problem I have is that I have 2x Radio codes (!) in the handbook. The instruction manual does not say what buttons to press and it keeps blocking me out with "WAIT" message
One code is 1963, and one is 5523 _ I ma not sure which is which. But are any of you fine fellows out there able to advise how to "key" or input the numbers correctly so I can check out the impressive looking sound system!?
Much appreciated
