the only thing I don't like about the 7120 is that it has no dowel pin holes so it was kinda tricky to get it on straight and I was worried about messing up the gasket. I'm running one in a 2000 xj with no adaptor and no coil rail brackets. Been on for about 2k miles and no problems as of yet.

Really I was under the impression that the 7120 and 0630 have the dowel hole location in different places, in addition to the water temperature hole drilled in the rear on the 7120

the 7120 has no dowel pins at all. I think the 0630 is in the same place as the 0331, but don't quote me on that. And yes the 7120 has a hole for a temp sensor, a 1/8" npt plug will solve that problem though. A good way to line up a 7120 it to cut the heads off a couple of your old head bolts and grind a slot for a flat blade screw driver in them. Then thread them into the holes in the block and set the head down over them. That makes sure you plop the head down exactly where it needs to go the first time and don't gouge up your gasket trying to slide it around.

That's actually a good idea. I ll keep that in mind if I ever do a 7120 job

Does it matter if a winch is "water proof" or not? If I'm stuck in a mud pit an the winch is submerged will it break if it isn't? What if I'm just splash in through some puddles and it gets wet?
Any winch recommendations for a fair price?

What is a ballpark price of a stroker build? What can you get away with used? (crankshaft) I'm gonna do some research tonight after work on prices locally and all.

Need an opinion from you guys.

We all know I'm a noob about routine maintenance... how often do you guys rotate your tires? I was looking at mine yesterday and noticed the fronts were cupping. I never saw that before and I'm curious if you guys think it's normal wear and I should have rotated them earlier or possibly a bad part (ball-joints?).. anyway, pics:

Well, yes you need New tires. I rotate every 2 oil changes. Your alignment is off it looks like your toe in IIRC. Cruiser will yell at me if im wrong. Have you been carrying alot of gear or crap lately

lol no. Took the rear sway bar off, that's it. I drive pretty damn aggressively too. I just wanna get this figured out before I dump a new set of tires onto it. I really need to take the tire off and check out the wear on the inside. It looks fine from here but it's hard to see. I dunno about the air pressure, I'll check it later.

I'm honestly surprised it's my front tires going bad first... I'm pretty heavy footed. I'd have assumed the rears would be the first to go.

I did the low buck stroker for $1900. Keep in mind that even if you get a used crank which I did, you still have to get it turned and machined so there a decent size cost there. I put Keith Black pistons int it, Hesco Cam and other things. The biggest cost I feel was the machine work.
