Pro tip: It's not a Duramax. Why did you break your engine by changing sensors randomly with probably inferior aftermarket parts? I'm assuming you didn't drop the $600-800 to do it properly.

Does anybody have the part number for a 4.0 97 XJ fan shroud? Every where I look they claim to work for pretty much every year but the factory one I just got in the mail doesn't work for mine. I looked up the part number on the one I have through wholesalemopar and it states it is for a 00-01.
When trying to install, the bottom of the shroud(where it curves to circle the fan) hits the aluminum slots the tabs go into. My jeep has 4 slots for tabs, I'm guessing for the 4cyl/RHD model differences.
Any help would be great!!
Thanks

Yeah. They have two #'s. both fit all XJ's. I'm stumped. I might have to go to a dealer and see of they have the other part number and see if it is different. Or look at the one in my friends 95.

Is there a reason the speakers don't work in the front doors of my xj? I got the 93 cherokee sport.

You need to get new wire through the boot or relocate the speakers.

Negative. Always hear stories of ppl having to break valve stems when the aluminum fuses to the value stem. I know this is an issue with TPS stems.
