Lol, it's easy to **** up. Just like an oil filter or an air filter, they are not as simple as they seem.

So, let me get this straight.

You apply thottle at a stop on dry pavement.

At this point your tires aren't spinning.

When your straight piped, 4.0 auto MJ shifts from 1st to 2nd both tires break loose and you loose traction?

Weren't you the guy saying you could break the tires loose in 3rd gear at 80mph?
LOL all these are so full of win.

Don't get used sensors, just buy new ones. There's no way of knowing if they work if you get them out of a junk yard. Unless your just going after a gauge cluster?

Is this what you need?
SHIFT LINKAGE ADJUSTMENT
(1) Shift transfer case into 4L position. (make sure your shifter is fully in the 4L position)
(2) Raise vehicle.
(3) Loosen lock bolt on adjusting trunnion (Fig.
87).
(4) Be sure linkage rod slides freely in trunnion.
Clean rod and apply spray lube if necessary.
(5) Verify that transfer case range lever is fully
engaged in 4L position. (you can do this under the vehicle at the transfer case)
(6) Tighten adjusting trunnion lock bolt.
(7) Lower vehicle

Thank you but no, i need to know what the thread and size of the trunnion lock bolt is. The bolt that you loosen to adjust the rod. So the lock bolt on part 3*

With a gauge swap, do i have to swap the whole cluster like this guy? I just want the oil pressure gauge and the temp gauge.

Also oreillys has an oil pressure switch and an oil pressure gauge sensor. Im assuming its the gauge sensor id need? Theyre like $50ish though which seems way high.

Where would i install a Digital temp gauge on a 90 renix xj?

Could i use the newer thermostat housing with the side tap and put the sensor in there?
