Did the injector swap on my old '92, then after I totaled it on my new to me '93. Both times I reset the ECM to re-learn through the 50 start up deal. No problems on either swap, ran smooth on the old one and on the '93, but I also did the Neon 703 swap to avoid the fuel pressure issue.

Possibly. Im thinking there is some grease in there thats got too viscous and ain't doing its job. Then again, i have no idea about steering columns.

I thought some silicone or rubber bits hardened up from the cold

There's grease in there?

I wouldn't know, I hate electrical, therefore steering columns scare me.

hey I was wondering what's the best lift for my Jeep2000 Limited on 31 inch 10.5 15 it has a stock lift from the factory but I want to go bigger so my tires look right under my Jeep. so give me your opinions. I'm not cutting my fenders out like I said it's a limited, it has leather heated seats, it's not just a hack job junk cheap piece of junk, Kelley Blue Books for over 6 grand so realistically I want people to give me real opinions.

First, your pictures being sideways annoys the hell out of me.

Second, you can make a fender cut look OEM if you actually know what you're doing. It surely wont look like a "hack job junk cheap piece of junk".

Third, a 3 inch lift with 31's is a good fit. Thats what i would go for on your almighty bluebooked xj. If you want to know what that looks like, google it.

I would get off the whole "limited" high horse. Lol

Then I would give it a 3inch lift. You'll clear those tires no problem.

But... Even at 3 inches if you plan to do some real wheeling and flex out hard enough plan on tearing those fender flares off.. Seen it many times.

You're worried about value and you ride around with a half-assed roof rack, 12 dollar lights and truck nutz?!

You didn't seem to mind hacking up the valance to put those tow hooks in there.

I can deal with the roof rack but truck nutz are the 8th deadly sin to me. Other than that it's a pretty clean XJ.

first of all the hooks were put there by the factory second of all I had to cut the valence so that I can recover other Jeeps more quickly like yours. and it does get dirty, dirtier ithan your freaking piece of junk. and my roof rack was put up there by somebody else, I bought it like that, it does look like somebody like you would have built something like that, and then braged about it to all your friends and buddies.but I digress I didn't ask for criticism I asked a suggestion you *******. here's the thing if I wanted to criticism I would have gone to a bunch of my Jeep buddies and ask them I asked a whole bunch of people on a forum what they think about a lift and you gave me a whole bunch of crap about my roof rack so thank you
