but for real how would i make sure its ok, im not getting that funky egg small but i there is some sort of rattling coming from it

Or a catalytic converter? If you have a heat detecting gun you can check to make sure the intake of the cat is a lower temp than the outtake side.

Rattling is usually a bad sign.. much like a lightbulb. Totally different reasons, though, so I'm not sure why I made the comparison.

Bumpstops? They limit your axle's uptravel to save your shocks from bottoming out and to stop your tires from hitting the fenders.

Quadratec or 4wd.com

If you plan on lifting it, get the 4" long ones

Most at the yard are gonna be rotten.. Just by some new ones that are gonna last if you can.

This. If you care a lot about ride quality, look up progressive bumpstops.
