You can get it at a parts store. Make sure you get the right one. There's one for an oil pressure gauge, and there's one for just a warning light. Depends if you have full gauges in your dash or just idiot lights.

I've read it has to do with the style/method of exhaust collection. I'm no expert, though.

My Dads' 96 GC 4.0 a/t x2wd 200k
We have replaced all of the following parts;
camshaft position sensor
crankshaft position sensor
ECM- (at dealer, not really sure on this one)
Fuel Pump assembly
Distributor- including Cap and Rotor
Distributor did make it run better and smoother but the Jeep still slow stalls and dies with backfire at the most inconvienent times. It always seems to start right back up. We have determined that whatever this is, it is electrical. But have run out of ideas. One of yoour posters (crazy macaw) mentioned the ASD relay. I see that this has been an one going problem with the GCs and was hoping someone out there had finally found the proper fix for this issue.
Thanks for any input or new ideas

Manifold almost identical to stock (sans bellows/flex sections):

Banks "header":

The idea is that there is less interference between each cylinder's exhaust, resulting in less backpressure in the system. Larger pipe diameter helps too. Designed right (I think equal-length tubing or something) exhaust scavanging can happen which helps keep power up at higher RPMs.

I think you're right about not driving it. That'd be a safe bet.
