Default XJ 4.0 spark plugs

I'm getting a check engine code that tells me I have a misfire at cylinder one. I've tryed seafoam and now want to change the spark plugs. Which ones do you recomend?

Always post the year/engine.

For 87-99: I like Champion copper plugs

For 00-01: I like NGK copper plugs. Champions will run fine, but the NGK's gap holds up better with this particular ignition over time.

Be sure that you check the gap before installing! Don't assume gap is correct out of the box. Gap is .035

If you're changing plugs, consider changing wires, distributor cap, rotor and fuel filter (if applicable; again we don't know the year of your XJ).

Tuneup hardware is very important.

I second that on checking the cap, who knows where the loss of spark originates from but while you're in there, might as well do it all.

XJ's forever!
