Ok so I went out the other morning to start my jeep up just to get the juices flowing since its been sitting on my side yard. It wouldn't start so I checked the battery, it was dead. I tried charging it and it wouldn't hold the charge so I bought a new battery. After I put the new one in it started up but with a knock! After letting it warm up for 20 mintues it went away. My question is should I be concerned about this? Do I have a bad rod? Thanks for any help in advance.

I would say two weeks to a month.

 

honestly as long as it dont do it anymore i wouldnt worry about it at all. thing can make some funny noises when its been a while since they last ran. i mean i would prolly check the obvious like make sure you dont have metal in the oil or low oil pressure or burning oil and if it checks ok and dont make noise i wouldnt get to worried
