Quote: err well urs is a 96...so its OBDII so...i think urs should run on 49 psi constant so i think you wouldnt need the high pressure regulator...not to sure on the obdII jeeps hopefully somebody else chimes in
correct 96+ OBD 49psi constant....96-OBD1 and Renix need the High Pressure FPR.

I wouldn't have bought the regulator anyway, I'm too cheap. I payed $400 for the whole Jeep and drove it home. It was the down payment for the accessories I put on it though. Probably put more than $400 into it with odds and ends along with the lift kit and what not.

I would read that confusing thread that is posted on page one. I have a '94 XJ, I got the ford yellow stick injectors, and had to get the higher pressure fuel reg. For me it has smoothed the idle out, and I have quicker throttle response, but all XJ's are different. If your mostly stock the #24 would be too much. Those are for mainly strokers. Also, all this is in that thread mentioned earlier, but some other good alternative injector are listed as well, such as neon's.

Good luck,
J

I read most of that thread, but it fried my brain. So I'd rather double check, than buy the wrong injectors. I already knew about the Neon injectors, but they seem to be more expensive and you only find em in sets of 4. So you need to buy 2 sets. I'm considering the MSD injectors I posted earlier considering they are for a Mustang 5.0 and are brand new. Also, only $35 total for 8 injectors and the guy has 100% feedback, so it's not a scam.

If for some reason you don't get the injectors you posted earlier here are a few links to other threads about injectors....I believe they should contain enough information/ arguments to fill the library of congress

Yea, I read most of that. I just wanted to be sure the original ones I posted would work. Some people say 5.0 Mustang and some say 5.0 Explorer.

if you do a search for neon injectors there are normally several sets on ebay. Normally they are cheap enough that buying two sets isn't bad. However you may have to be patient before you find some. I had bid on a set earlier and within 10 minutes of ending someone out bid me by a dollar! there are some on there now with a fuel rail still attached.

Must be gone, because the link doesn't work. I'll take a trip to my favorite junkyard on Saturday considering I need to pick up new leaf springs anyway. I don't think they have a 2.4L Neon, but if they do, I'll get the injectors for $10 or less if I can find em.
