Default Fuel injector swap-Come on, i know theyre out there

No one replied to the last one, so im sending it again.

Lets hear some stories, in detail, of people's new injectors, the work needed, and the outcome. Pics would be awesome.
I'm basically going to do mine (stock 97 4.0L I6 AW4--not HO) and i'm thinking ford mustang 19#s...is it simply that easy to just siwtch them and go?

Some sites i've found...which is most legit?

Also....do these actually work? Stories?

Hm, i guess i dont really know...How do i tell if it is or isnt?
Basically, i ignorantly noticed it had 4.0L instead of "4.0L High Output" and assumed it wasn't....

IF its a 97 its an HO. At some point 96 or 97 I believe they stopped putting "High Output" badges on and just used the 4.0 badge.

ford mustang injectors are NOT the ones you want....you need the Orange "stick" style injectors found on 5.0 explorers and 4.6L ford vehicles......as they spray from 4holes for a better air fuel mixture. I have been running these on mine for about 10 K.

I've attached a link below, it is a great site that sells rebuilt mustang injectors. They have excellent step by step instructions accompanied with pics. The pics are actually of an install on an XJ which helps alot. I found out about it from a guy on this site who put them in his XJ. He gained 5mpgs on the highway and 2 in the city. I took his advice and ordered a set, and I'm putting them in this afternoon.

The injectors in the link, are those the rebuilt mustang injectors you were talking about?

So I have the 00" Injectors in my XJ, the best available for an XJ. Swapping is easy as can be, 4 bolts and some elbow grease to swap. Make sure you get not only injector o-rings but rail o-rings as well

So the question now is...whats the best fuel injector? Proof?

Depends on the application, the best injector is one that flows the right amount of fuel and disperses it most efficiently. The Dodge Neon injectors fit the bill quite nicely and IMO are the best injectors. click the link I posted earlier and read through that whole thread...you'll see what I mean

there's plenty of proof, its just not documented by us because that costs lots of money we'd rather not spend.

end of story is: 4 hole spray> 1 hole spray. and high pressure > low pressure
