Default Wont turn obwr i tried solenoid bypass just one click.

I believe my atartwr ia frozen when i go to start i get onw click and nothing i triwd thw bypass and to connect using screwdriver same result just want to make sure its a bad starter before i go replacing or any pthwr techniques

Pull the starter and take it to your local parts store and have them bench test it.

If you haven't cleaned and tightened all your grounds and battery cables then you should do that too.

One click is usually a bad connection at the battery or the starter. If you find out the starter is good then clean and tighten connections.

So update for anyone wondering or following along. So I pulled the starter and picked up a remanufactured one. It hasn't turned over this strong since I've had it, I got one with a lifetime replacement for 70 bucks at O'rielys. Just to make sure i had the old one bench tested there it did pass the test but only pulled something like 40 amps. The new one they checked it at the same time to see a difference it pulled something like 60- 70 amps cant remember exactly but you could hear a big difference in the power and speed while testing so i got the new one. Low and behold it fired right up with awesome power. Hope it helps some one out there and thanks to everyone for the help and suggestions!!!
