Why is my Jeep sitting lower?
99 Jeep Cherokee Sport
Maybe it's my imagination, but it appears that my Jeep sits lower to the ground that it used to. What might be the cause of this? No, the tires are not flat. I'm an entry level mehanic, and I'll take it to a real mechanic to be checked. But I'd like to have some knowledge about possible problems before I do that. Thanks.

Google this to double check but pretty sure stock height is 17" for the rear from the center of the tire to the bottom of the factory fender flare. Front is 17.5 measured the same way as the rear. Might give you an idea where you are at. Assuming a stock suspension.
