starter relay... or starter solenoid... starter solenoid is located on the starter in most cases... so starter replacement means solenoid replacement...

i JUST had this problem with my 92. Would only start when it was cold, once it warmed up it wouldnt start unless i redneck'd it.

replaced starter solenoid and now it starts every time, hot or cold (just have a NSS problem now)

Huntingman's right, it's probably your starter or starter solenoid. However, I think it can cause your rig to turn off while driving; if the solenoid kicks the starter on it diverts all power from the rest of the vehicle.

uh... not possible... think about it... if the rest of your vehicle didnt hold power when the starter was turning then it wouldnt start...

is there power on the secondary wire or little wire thats on the solenoid ?
