Wobble/extreme shake in front end
I have a 96 country and I broke my left side sway bar link doing things a stock xj should never do without a lift lol so I left it go till I had a serious death wobble going on anything over 55 and if it didn't do it when I hit that speed it would start as soon as I hit a bump with the left front tire so I have now put a new sway bar link on and it will occasionally still wobble when i hit a bump at high speeds I did notice the sway bar bushings are egged out a little probably from wobbling so much could that be my cause of my existing wobble????

Start with the cheap stuff, tighten bolts, check alignment, look for wallowed out holes.
Things that are factors:
Tires, Ball Joints, TRE's (both tie rod and drag link), Loose track bar (both sides), Poor alignment (both toe and castor), bad CA bushings (upper and lower), bent axle, bent wheel...
Its not a fun diagnosis.

DW could be a a bit of "all or nothing". Chasing the cause might be striking luck on the first go, or see you go through all the stuff and end up with the last item. But this also means that your front end components will be good for many years to come
Every downside has it's upside, so to speak.
But start with some good inspection and tightening first.
Plenty of threads to read through, to give you an idea about what to check and do first.
Good luck.

When you look at the front end, don't only look when its on the ground... jack it up and look also. I had a hairline beak in a tie rod... couldn't even see it, till it was off the ground...
Als, might want to check your tire studs... might have 1 broken off.

Used this write up to a t when I had death wobble in my previous jk. Helped loads, even though my track bar seemed in good shape replacing it stopped my death wobble. Hope it helps DW is a b*tch
