Headlight switch melted, took out the harness to it. Rewired it, everything but running lights worked.

Recently unhooked the remote starter, tail lights came back, everything seemed good for 24 hours. Drove home tonight realized one headlight was not working, and passenger tail light is staying on.

Tail light will go out when dome lights are on. not sure if this issue is in the switch or some wire between the switch and who knows.

So far I have unhooked the door sensors on the tail, and drivers door(was gonna put that one back but the wire fell behind the frame and I havent worried about it.)

Tonight I ripped the head lights all apart in search of it possibly being there. found A short though it wasnt the cause.


The PO did a horrible job wiring in the remote starter/alarm, everything is a rats nest by the break peddle including the relays that just hang behind the side panel.

Where else would power to trigger the running light be provided?
