Cool Wiper Motor

Not sure if anyone has run into this, my wiper motor had failed, armature rusty, case rusted out, so I work at a dealership......approx $250.00 my cost! Not a chance, they are the same part from 1984-2000. The more I thought of it the more irritated i was, then I remembered a wiper motor recall that plauged dakota's a few years ago, I had saved some of those and thought i'd have a look(the dakota recall part can be purchased for $30.00 cdn) The motors are almost identical, I used the main shaft/gear and cover plate from mine and now have a new motor for nothing! just a little time! hope this helps someone in the future.

No sorry I should have specified, this was to replace the front wiper motor.

no pics, write ups?
literally buy the part, remove the old one, gut it, put the new part in, replace original housing, and thats it?

good find but why doesnt anyone take pics when working on their rigs?
