Default Windows wont go up or down

2000 xj 4dr. Hey ya'll. So my windows were working fine. Got up this morning and they wont go down. The driver door switches wont work at all. The passenger side lock switch works. All 4 door window switches dont do anything. I made my doors removable awhile back. Maybe has something to do with it? I took the door's off out of frustration because it's the first nice day we have had here in WY. Got caught in the rain driving home from work I would like to get this resolved manana.. Thanks in advance for your help everyone.

Have you done the simple thing and check the fuses. You should also make sure none of the wires are frayed or torn.

power for power windows is fed from the fuse to the DRIVERS door switch panel. if you dont have power coming into that none of your windows will work.

Ok so I have two broken wire's in my driver's door wiring harness. And a few more that look to be on there way out. Has anyone rewired a complete harness before? If so do you replace the entire wire or just the plagued section of wire. Thanks.

I would just redo all the wires. Chances are all the wires are already bad and on their way out anyways.
