my windows in my jeep are not working
the passenger door, and the 2 back doors will no go up or down from the switch
but the main switches on the drivers doors can make them go up or down
the window lock is not on....so im thinking its the switches in the door
i find that hard to believe that 3 out of 4 doors has bad switches
could it be a fuse? If so which one?

Take a volt meter and start checking them. Start on the driver's door switch, odds are you will not have to go much farther. Make sure the driver's door switch and the others a working when activated. The driver's door is the master of all of them. And do fail.

It's a common problem, pull the door panel off, leave the switch hanging, and check both sides of the switch. power going in and out of switch to their assigned doors. Another problem is the wires tend to break or fray in that rubber sleeve or boot between the door and body. Think of how many times that door has been opened and closed, and that switch used. As compared to the other ones.

Give this a try and see if it takes care of your window problems.
Here is a link to bypass the lock switch for it. It took care of mine and I did have the same problem.

BTW, What ever you do, DO NOT use a paper clip. Use the correct wire and connectors. Let us know if it takes care of your problem. And YES, It is a very common problem.
Good Luck.
