Pulled into the driveway yesterday and rolled up my windows and the speakers on my radio quit working for the duration of the time I was holding the switch. Found it odd, so rolled them back down-same thing, rolled them up, no audio. Soon as I let loose the button, audio returned. The radio itself did not lose power and there was no "delay" in the windows rolling up or down. Any ideas?

 

Had a similar problem not to long ago. I found that several wires in the rubber conduit leading from the doorframe into the door had been chaffed. All sorts of peculiar stuff happened. When I opened my door I lost the audio, when I rolled the windows up or down there was interference on the audio.

After repairing the various wires I haven't had any issues with the audio any more.

 

It's comforting to hear about people with more bizarre wiring issues than mine...

 

Yeah check in your door. When i open my drivers door my audio goes out. It just the way the conduit frays on those wires...
