Attachment 36663 Here's mine with silver mirrored factory tint. I love it. There where models offered with gold mirrored factory tint. Usually came with the gold badge pkg., The gold privacy glass pkg., and the gold alloy rims.
I have tinted many car windows using tint from auto zone or checkers and if you take your time and do a good job following the basic directions and use the right tools you can get many years of use out of your tint. Right next to the tint you can find a basic tool kit for a few bucks that has a spray bottle and what not. Also a simple youtube search will bring many tutorial videos up.

Going super dark looks great, but it can be a pain when backing up. My windows were tinted over the factory privacy glass, the rear door glass, quarter glass and rear window glass are black and impossible to see in from the outside. It really helps in the Summer and looks great, but will water spot instantly if they get wet on a hot day, and it is very hard to see behind me at night.
And can you post or pm a pic of your glass? inside and out? I just want to know how it looks when you tint over the factory tint. thanks

There is a place here that has patterns for any vehicle and will cut it for you to pick up and do yourself. I personally would take it to someone! i checked out the cutter place once and they were actually pretty reasonable in price but not that much cheaper than having a pro do it! Can you say purple window tint? lol thats cheap tint thats faded! Good stuff won't do that so at least spend the extra bux for the good stuff!

Here is my ZJ with limo tint over the factory privacy glass, the front two windows are also tinted, but only 20%.
