Default Window regulators - again . . .

Window drop, front passenger side.
I took the door apart. Typical worn out plastic slipping past the cable. Easy enough fix with the cotter pin trick. Lubed the runner and cable.
The issue is now the cable is jammed in the plastic tube!
Switches work fine, motor works great. But the cable is so stuck in the plastic tube that I cannot even pull it out with vice grips.
Instead of burning out a perfectly good motor, I removed the 3 screws to see if the drive gear was meshing. Seems OK.

The cable is just locked-up within the plastic tube. Any thoughts?

Unhappy try this

I been reading alot about these since mine dropped and it seems that the piece of plastic that breaks off gets jammed in the tube. the article i read said you would have to screw the thing out or maybe find another in a junk yard. soory to hear someone else is having this problem. I finally gave up and bought an after market regulator on e-bay for &59.00.
